After years of consecration and prayer, Apostle, Dr. Chairidee Smith founded Maranatha Global Ministries in 2008 with a board of 7 members reflecting the 5-fold ministers of Acts 4:11. The mission of Maranatha is to establish a global commonwealth for Followers of Messiah and to prepare the remnant of Israel scattered throughout the globe for His return.

For approximately 9 years, Apostle Smith provided apostolic strength, prophetic teaching, foundational biblical teaching, and ministerial leadership for Hebrew Roots fellowships until 2019. This was prophetic and profound. In 2019 the United Nations declared the acknowledgement of the “400 years of the so-called African American’s enslavement and the global scattering of the African Diaspora. During this time a global awakening happened among “sleeping Hebrews”. It was during this time Apostle Smith was mandated by Holy Spirit to go and begin establishing Maranatha, globally, and she obeyed. She was led to Ghana and established the organizational framework for the ministerial and business development growth of Maranatha Global, USA & Ghana.

Maranatha Global is a prophetic and apostolic body of worshippers and international business emissaries. We study Scripture, sharing the prophetic word Yah, transforming our world spiritually, culturally, and economically. We host conferences, crusades, meet-ups, trade missions and weekly gatherings. Our Founder has taken the torch of Maranatha Global into in 39 countries and counting, establishing ministry partnerships, economic development hubs for underserved entrepreneurs, and world-class premier leadership development.
